We’re looking for an experienced Software Developer to join our Product team. Your mission is to make the core area of the product more robust and scalable: you’ll have an active role in the design, development and maintenance of critical platform systems, working on orchestration, concurrency, testing and observability, and helping our AI capabilities evolve reliably.

What you bring to the team:

• 4+ years of experience in software development, with a track record of working across different layers of the stack
• Solid experience with Python.
• Experience with relational Databases (document databases a plus) and data modeling and data management.
• Experience building and maintaining backend services and APIs, and with containerization.
• Strong grasp of software engineering best practices in topics such as concurrency, modularization, version control, and testing.

• Knowledge of event-driven architectures, microservices, or distributed systems

Your key responsibilities:

• Actively contribute to the development, evolution, and maintenance of the core communication system behind Buddy.
• Help shape and develop the architecture of the communication system.
• Maintain and evolve our Python backend systems.
• Keep our code solid — push for good practices in how we build, test, and monitor.
